Ayscoughfee Hall Pavillion

‘It’s absolutely hideous’ … ’No, it’s quality and imaginative’ – councilors divide over Ayscoughfee pavilion

We take it as a compliment to be controversial, for our designs to generate a debate about how the contemporary and traditional can work together. Having said that we are very pleased that the conclusion was to grant planning approval for our contemporary park pavilion set in the gardens of the Grade I listed Ayscoughfee Hall. The design took inspiration from the geometry of the formal gardens, the typology of the park band stand and the classic 'Anglepoise' Type 75 desk lamp.

Also a big thank you to Heritage Lincolnshire for their collaboration in producing the Heritage Statement.
