Repair & Conservation Work | London | UK
For – English Heritage
Role – Project Architect
Value – £1.2m
As part of our framework agreement with English Heritage, we carried out a full condition survey of Chiswick House together with all the buildings and structures in the grounds which included the Classic Bridge, the Inigo Jones Gateway, the Domed Temple, the Napolean Temple, the Deer House and Cascade. This informed four phases of major repair works to the main house which have included renewal of lead and slate roof coverings and gutters, repair and redecoration of external render and stonework, repairs to the portico and balconies, internal redecoration and structural repairs. We have also undertaken some works to address the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.
